Located in Eugene, our lobbying firm works on behalf of business, governmental and nonprofit clients in the fields of health care, public transit, and social services. Doug Barber leads Lobby Oregon’s lobbying efforts at the Oregon Legislature in Salem. Prior to founding Lobby Oregon, Doug was the Vice President of Public Affairs at the Ulum Group, a public relations firm in Eugene, where he worked for a decade as a lobbyist. Before getting into government relations, Doug worked as a Senior Reporter for KEZI TV in Eugene, covering stories on state politics and the environment. Doug serves on the board of directors for the Oregon Center for Applied Science and the Eugene Public Library Foundation. He holds a Master of Divinity from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy & Religion from Colgate University.
